Wind Cave National Park is a United States national park im south-western South Dakota.
The cave is notable for its displays of the calcite formation known as boxwork, looking like honeycomb.
Approximately 95 percent of the world's discovered boxwork formations are found in Wind Cave.
Wind Cave is also known for its frostwork, which reminds of Popcorn.
The cave is currently the sixth-longest in the world with 140.47 miles (226.06 km) of explored cave passageways.
Above ground, the park includes one of the largest remaining natural mixed-grass prairie in the United States.

Wind Cave National Park ist ein Nationalpark im südwestlichen South Dakota.
Die Höhle ist berühmt für eine Kalzitformation die "Boxwork" genannt wird und aussieht wie Bienenwaben.
Rund 95 % aller weltweit bekannten Boxwork-Formationen befinden sich in dieser Höhle.
Wind Cave ist weiterhin bekannt für die sogenannten "Forstwork" Formationen, die an Popcorn erinnern.
